Hey ATICTS Users:

The WEB Enablement module for use with ATICTS is the best new feature ever! As most of you know, we have been working on this project for a while and now it is wildly successful. Here are answers to some very frequently asked questions:

1) What will the Web Enablement module allow me to do?

Answer: WEB Enablement will allow you to access parts of ATICTS via an intranet or the Internet. YES!! Without having any ATICTS software loaded (i.e. executable etc.) you, and those whom you provide the address to, will be able to access ATICTS with only a browser!

2) What functionality will the Web Enablement module provide?

Answer: Via the web one will be able to select from the following menu options:

The most exciting capabilities lie in kitting and reservations. Via the web (again, without any ATICTS executable software) one will be able to create a kit template and then reserve the items for when the kit is needed. This functionality will be a tremendous new possibility for those of you who use kitting extensively. Please don't hesitate to call Shelley Stark and/or Kalju Kaik at DEN to discuss the specific functionality of these menu options.

3) Can I see the WEB Enablement module?

Answer: YES!! You can contact DEN and request a link that will allow you to log onto our in-house ATICTS server and experience the WEB Enablement module live! I am convinced that when you see it you will soon be showing it to others in your organization - especially those who now have to call or e-mail to get what the WEB Enablement module provides.

4) How much will it cost?

Answer: Please call for current pricing. The starter package includes time to install the module, train the end users and a two user port license. If you need more user ports they can be added later but, unlike with the existing Windows logon to ATICTS, when one logs on via the web one will only be using a "port" for the time it takes to load the page or data. This means that 2 user ports should accommodate many hits or users!

Please don't hesitate to call and ask questions, the DEN techies are very excited about this new feature and would be more than willing to help with your inquiry.
